Niki Mazaroli is endlessly interested in food systems adaptation to climate change, food security, and the challenges facing small and subsistence agricultural producers. Niki holds a Masters in Environmental Science and Management from UCSB's Bren School, specializing in water and land use with an emphasis on decentralized agrifood systems. Niki has diverse field experience in geology, agroforestry, regenerative agriculture, and refugee resettlement. Niki is the owner and lead researcher of Strategy Research Science LLC, a consulting company based in Ventura. She currently works with NGOs, private companies, and educational institutions predominantly in California and the Pacific Islands. When she's not chasing her toddler around, Niki can be found exploring the California coastline, surfing, and reading nonfiction.
