Jason has 10 years of watershed management experience on California's central coast.  Currently, he serves as a Senior Project Manager at a local non-profit group--South Coast Habitat Restoration, teaches courses including Applied Watershed Management as a lecturer at the University of California--Santa Barbara, and sits on the Board of Directors for the California Salmonid Restoration Federation and the Santa Barbara Urban Creeks Collective.  He has participated on multiple past and ongoing working committees including the Hollister Ranch Coastal Access group, Caltrans FishPac, and others.  He possesses a bachelor’s of science degree in Environmental Management and Protection from California Polytechnic State University--San Luis Obispo, and master’s degree in Environmental Science and Management  from the Bren School at the University of California--Santa Barbara.  He prides himself on being advocate for  sound, collaborative, and creative environmental problem solving and has dedicated his career to working within California's unique central coast landscape, a place he cherishes and calls home.  In his spare time, you can find him in local surf lineups, climbing mountains, and exploring the backcountry.
